The Texas Rangers placed right-hander Jon Gray on the 15-day injured list Thursday due to a right groin strain.

Gray, 32, left Tuesday’s start at Philadelphia with the injury. He is 2-2 with a 2.21 ERA in 11 games (10 starts).

Gray is 71-66 with a 4.34 ERA in 216 career games (214 starts) with the Colorado Rockies (2015-21) and Rangers.

Texas called up RHP Jesus Tinoco from Triple-A Round Rock and transferred LHP Cody Bradford (low back strain) to the 60-day IL in related moves.

Tinoco, 29, last appeared in the majors with Texas in 2022. He is 1-1 with a 3.80 ERA and one save in 15 games (no starts) this season at Round Rock.

Bradford, 26, landed on the injured list on April 14. He went 3-0 with a 1.40 ERA in three starts with the Rangers prior to the back injury.
