Monday’s series opener between the New York Mets and host Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed due to bad weather, the first rainout of the season at PNC Park.

The teams will play a split doubleheader Wednesday, with the first game starting at 12:35 p.m. and the nightcap set for 6:35 p.m. ET.

This is the first meeting of the season between the clubs.

Pittsburgh has lost four straight games and 12 of its last 14. The National League East-leading Mets have dropped two in a row.
