Thursday’s game between the host New York Mets and Miami Marlins has been postponed to Friday, one of several games nixed with the anticipation of inclement weather in the Northeast.

First pitch of the Mets’ home opener will now be Friday afternoon at 1:10 p.m.

The Mets opened the season in Miami, winning three of four games. This series is three games.

Both clubs will come into the contest with 3-4 records.
