The Miami Marlins re-signed shortstop Miguel Rojas to a two-year contract through the 2023 season.
MLB Network reported that the deal announced on Thursday is worth $10 million.
Rojas, 32, batted .265 with a career-high 30 doubles, nine homers, 48 RBIs and a career-best 13 stolen bases in 132 games in 2021, his seventh season with the Marlins. He also ranked second among all shortstops with 80 double plays on defense.
Rojas is a career .265 hitter with 33 home runs and 233 RBIs in 815 games with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2014) and Marlins.
