The Chicago Cubs’ home game against the Miami Marlins on Thursday was postponed due to inclement weather.

The clubs were scheduled to start a four-game series. Instead, Thursday’s game will be played as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday, when they were already slated for an early afternoon game.

It was not yet known how the rainout would affect either team’s pitching plans. Right-hander Jameson Taillon was scheduled to make his season debut for the Cubs on Thursday against Marlins starter A.J. Puk (0-3, 5.91 ERA).
