And then there were two.

As the MLB Winter Meetings wrapped, half of the quartet of prized free-agent shortstops had found new homes. The Philadelphia Phillies finalized an 11-year, $300 million contract with Trea Turner while the San Diego Padres reportedly landed Xander Bogaerts for 11 years and $280 million.

Along with Aaron Judge returning to the New York Yankees for nine years and $360 million, the market for Carlos Correa and Dansby Swanson has crystallized further.

After missing out on Judge, the San Francisco Giants are expected to make a strong run at the 28-year-old Correa, who opted out of his contract with the Minnesota Twins to hit free agency. The Giants and Twins are co-favorites to land Correa at +100 by SportsBetting.ag.

The Chicago Cubs are expected to be aggressive in pursuing both Correa and Swanson, while the Boston Red Sox are on the hunt to replace Bogaerts.

Carlos Correa Next Team Odds
Giants +100
Twins, +100
Cubs, +650
Red Sox, +650

Swanson’s next potential destination included more than twice as many teams at the sportsbook, with the Cubs the strong favorite at -150. Swanson, also 28, hit .277 with 25 home runs for the Atlanta Braves last season.

Chicago has already added former Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger and starting pitcher Jameson Taillon this offseason.

The Twins are next at +600 to sign Swanson should they fail to lure Correa back, while the Dodgers are being offered at +700 as they seek to fill the void created by Turner’s departure.

The Dodgers are not expected to make a strong run at Correa due to the negative fan reaction that it would cause due to his involvement in the sign-stealing scandal during the Houston Astros’ run to a 2017 World Series title over Los Angeles.

Dansby Swanson Next Team Odds
Cubs -150
Twins +600
Dodgers +700
Yankees +900
Cardinals +1000
Giants +1000
Mariners +1000
Red Sox +1000
Orioles +1200
