MLB: D-backs acquire LHP Konnor Pilkington from Guardians

The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired left-hander Konnor Pilkington from the Cleveland Guardians on Monday for cash considerations.

The Diamondbacks optioned Pilkington, 25, to Triple-A Reno.

He pitched two innings of scoreless relief in his lone appearance of the season on April 25 against Colorado and was designated for assignment the next day.

Pilkington made his MLB debut with Cleveland in 2022. He is 1-2 with a 3.75 ERA in 16 career games (11 starts), with 52 strikeouts and 33 walks in 60 innings.
