Bryce Harper hit a grand slam, Kody Clemens added a home run, triple and four RBIs and the host Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 10-1 on Tuesday.

Bryson Stott contributed two hits, Edmundo Sosa hit an RBI triple and Nick Castellanos added an RBI double for the Phillies, who have won seven straight and 11 in a row at home. They have won 18 of 21 overall to maintain the best record in the majors.

Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez (2-3) gave up six hits and one run, with five strikeouts and two walks, in seven innings.

Danny Jansen had two hits for the Blue Jays.

Toronto, which managed only six hits, went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position with five left on base.

Blue Jays starter Jose Berrios (4-3) tossed 3 2/3 innings and allowed seven hits and eight runs, with seven strikeouts and two walks. Berrios’ ERA jumped from 1.44 to 2.85.

Philadelphia went ahead 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning when Castellanos ripped an RBI double down the left-field line to score Harper, who finished 3-for-4, from first base. Berrios then picked off Castellanos to end the inning.

In the second, Clemens hit a two-run homer — his second homer of the year — to right for a 3-0 advantage.

The Blue Jays placed runners at first and second with no outs in the third, but George Springer grounded into a 4-6-3 double play. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. then walked. Justin Turner flied out to center to strand a pair of runners.

Clemens added an RBI triple and Harper launched a grand slam — his ninth homer of the year — to right in the fourth for an 8-0 lead.

Jansen singled with one out in the seventh inning and Alejandro Kirk followed with a double. Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit an RBI groundout to help the Jays avoid a shutout.

Spencer Turnbull retired the Blue Jays in order in the eighth.

Sosa hit an RBI triple and Clemens added an RBI groundout in the eighth to push the Phillies’ lead to 10-1.
