The 23-year-old Blalock was Milwaukee’s No. 17 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline. He made his major league debut with the Brewers on June 20, pitching a scoreless inning in his only appearance.

Blaylock went 5-2 with a 4.08 ERA in 16 starts at Double-A Biloxi this year.
