The Atlanta Braves scratched right-hander Jake Odorizzi from Saturday night’s scheduled start due to arm fatigue.

The Braves recalled right-hander Bryce Elder from Triple-A Gwinnett to start against the visiting Miami Marlins.

Atlanta optioned reliever Jay Jackson to Gwinnett following Friday night’s 8-1 victory against the Marlins.

Odorizzi, 32, is 1-2 with a 4.26 ERA in five starts with the Braves since arriving in an Aug. 2 trade with Houston.

Odorizzi is a combined 5-5 with a 3.90 ERA across 17 starts with the Braves and Astros.

Elder, 23, made his major league debut on April 12 and is 1-3 with a 4.45 ERA in six games (five starts) with Atlanta.
