Metallica is returning for a tour, naming the tour “No Repeat Weekend.” There are two concerts per city, including at MetLife Stadium on Aug. 4 and Aug. 6, 2023. Only two-day tickets which include admission to both shows in a single city will be available for purchase when tickets go on general sale to the public on Friday, Dec. 2 on Ticketmaster.
In addition to sharing a song titled “Lux Æterna,” they have also announced a new album and tour for 2023. The album 72 Seasons, which Greg Fidelman, James Hetfield, and Lars Ulrich produced, will be released on April 14 of the next year. Before a run of North American performances later in the year, their tour dates begin in Europe that same month. In 2024, more stints are planned for Europe and America.
