LOL: Zeus leads T1 to sweep of Weibo Gaming in final of Worlds

T1 swept Weibo Gaming on Sunday in the grand final of the 2023 League of Legends World Championship at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea.

South Korean Woo-je “Zeus” Choi was named the MVP of the match for T1, who breezed to a 3-0 win with 31-, 30- and 26-minute victories on red.

“Gold medal and a Worlds trophy both in a year? 2023 is truly the year of ‘Zeus’! ‘Zeus’ is the Worlds 2023 Finals MVP!” T1 wrote on Twitter.

T1 swept LNG Esports in the quarterfinals and posted a 3-1 win over JD Gaming in the semis to advance to the clash versus Weibo Gaming in the $2.2 million tournament.
