LOL: Top Esports, Fnatics earn sweeps at Mid-Season Invitational

Top Esports and Fnatic both posted sweeps on Thursday to advance to the upper-bracket final of the play-in stage at the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 in Chengdu, China.

Top Esports defeated LOUD in 33 minutes on blue and 29 minutes on red. Fnatic beat GAM Esports in 34 minutes on blue and 28 minutes on red.

Top Esports and Fnatic will square off Friday. LOUD and GAM Esports will go head-to-head on Saturday in a lower-bracket semifinal.

The $250,000 tournament began Wednesday with 12 teams competing for a $50,000 grand prize. The play-in stage concludes on Sunday.

4th: $25,000 — TBD
5th-6th: $20,000 — TBD
