T1 and AD carry Park “Teddy” Jin-seong have mutually agreed to part ways.
The team signed Teddy to a multi-year contract of June 2020, but he was benched late this year in favor of Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong. T1 reached the semifinals of Worlds 2021 with Gumayusi in the starting lineup.
Teddy, 23, joined the organization in 2018 and helped T1 win three LCK titles while also reaching the semifinals at Worlds 2019.
“This was not an easy decision but was the right thing for Teddy to be able to continue his career and have a chance to find a team where he can start,” T1 CEO Joe Marsh tweeted. “There was a lot of trade interest for Teddy in 3 different regions, but allowing him to pick a home was more important then.”

Teddy has already received interested from at least two LCS teams as well as LCK teams, according to Upcomer.com.
“Teddy has meant a lot to me personally and I’m going to miss having him be a part of T1,” Marsh said. “I’ll be cheering for him wherever he lands even if that’s the LCK (except when he plays us). Teddy has been a total professional and has been a great teammate.”
