Gen.G acquired jungler Wang-ho “Peanut” Han from Nongshim RedForce on Tuesday in exchange for mid laner Bo-seong “Bdd” Kwak, the League of Legends teams announced.
Peanut, a 23-year-old South Korean, will be embarking on his second stint with Gen.G. He previous played with the club from 2018-19 before spending time with LGD Gaming, Team Dynamics and Nongshim RedForce.
Bdd spent the past two seasons with Gen.G, who thanked him for the “determination and fortitude he displayed during his time with us.”
Bdd will be joining a Nongshim RedForce club that dismissed its entire 2021 starting lineup this offseason.
Also on Tuesday, Gen.G announced the addition of Hyeonjoon “Doran” Choi and the subtraction of veteran support Jungmin “Life” Kim, who is transferring to KT Rolster.
Doran, a 21-year-old South Korean, previously played with Griffin and DRX before joining KT Rolster in November 2020.
