FlyQuest stayed unbeaten on Saturday in the LTA North 2025 Split 2 positioning phase of the League of Legends tournament in Los Angeles.

FlyQuest (5-0) defeated LYON in 29 minutes on blue to stay ahead of Cloud9 (4-1), who also played on blue in knocking off Team Liquid in 28 minutes. FlyQuest and Cloud9 will meet on Sunday.

Gabriel “Bwipo” Rau, a Belgian/Brazilian player for FlyQuest was named MVP for their win, and Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme of Canada took the honor for Cloud9.

Eight teams are competing through April 21 in positioning play — a round-robin format in which each team plays the other seven once. Each match is one map and the results will determine Groups A and B for the group stage, which runs April 26 to May 18.
