Dignitas announced they have parted ways with veteran support Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black, who joined the team two years ago after a stint with 100 Thieves.
He was 36-49 with Dignitas, who have made consecutive playoff appearances.
“No one better defines what it means to be a professional than @aphromoo,” the team tweeted Monday. “We are grateful for everything you’ve done for @Dignitas. Good luck, Zaq. See you on the Rift.”
Aphromoo’s contract was set to expire later Monday and he is now a free agent. Assuming the 29-year-old signs on with a new team, Aphromoo will be entering his 10th professional League of Legends season in 2022.
