FRIENDLY: USMNT fills out roster for January friendlies

The U.S. men’s national team called up 24 players for the annual January camp Wednesday as the buildup for the 2026 World Cup gets underway.

The roster, featuring 15 active MLS players, will play friendlies against Serbia on Jan. 25 in Los Angeles and versus Colombia on Jan. 28 in Carson, Calif.

Five members of the Qatar World Cup roster return: goaltender Sean Johnson, defenders Aaron Long and Walker Zimmerman, midfielder Kellyn Acosta and forward Jesus Ferreira.

Thirteen players are seeking their first cap and 11 will be attending their first USMNT camp, where interim coach Anthony Hudson takes over after the expiration of head coach Gregg Berhalter’s deal.
