Tundra Esports and nouns advanced to the upper bracket quarterfinals at The International by recording a sweep in their respective seeding deciders on Saturday in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Tundra posted a 2-0 victory over HEROIC in its B2 vs. A3/A4 match, while nouns notched the same score in their D1 vs. C3/C4 contest. They’ll be joined by Team Falcons and Gaimin Gladiators, who secured 2-1 wins over beastcoast and G2 x iG.

Tundra will face Team Falcons and nouns will square off with Gaimin Gladiators in the upper bracket.

Sixteen teams entered the seeding deciders following the group stage earlier this week. They were broken into eight decider matches to determine their starting position in the double-elimination playoff bracket.

The winners will begin the main event in the upper bracket, and the losing sides will start out in the lower bracket. All matches are best-of-three until the grand final, which is best-of-five.

The champions will earn 45 percent of the prize pool, which began with a base of $1.6 million and will increase based on sales within the game.

On Saturday, Tundra Esports posted a 46-minute win on red and 41-minute victory on green to dispatch Heroic, while nouns notched a 45-minute triumph on green and a 48-minute win on red to topple Team Spirit.

Team Falcons had a tougher time of it in their C1 vs. D3/D4 decider, as beastcoast opened the match with a 43-minute win on green. Falcons responded with a flourish, posting a 32-minute victory on green and a 40-minute triumph on red.

Also, Gaimin Gladiators sandwiched 25- and 36-minute wins on red around G2 x iG’s 40-minute victory on red in their A2 vs. B3/B4 match.

The International 2024 prize pool
1. $1,099,940 (45 percent)
2. $342,208 (14 percent)
3. $219,948 (9 percent)
4. $146,632 (6 percent)
5-6. $85,552 (3.5 percent)
7-8. $61,080 (2.5 percent)
