Team Liquid swept Gaimin Gladiators on Saturday to advance to Sunday’s grand final in The International 2024 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Liquid followed a 47-minute win on green with a 32-minute victory on red in the upper bracket final. They have won all three of their playoff contests via two-game sweeps.

The grand final could feature a rematch between the two teams.

Saturday’s loss sent Gaimin Gladiators to the lower-bracket final, where they’ll face Tundra Esports on Sunday. The winner will meet Liquid in the grand final.

Tundra advanced to the lower-bracket final by sweeping Xtreme Gaming and Team Falcons on Saturday to eliminate both teams.

First against Xtreme, Tundra paired a 30-minute win on green with a 47-minute win on red. Tundra followed up against Team Falcons with a 43-minute victory on green and a 40-minute triumph on red.

Team Falcons had remained alive earlier Saturday by eliminating Cloud9 with a 34-minute victory on red and a 42-minute win on green in a 2-0 sweep.

The playoffs began with 16 teams seeded in either the upper or lower bracket based on the results of the group stage and seeding deciders. The winners of the decider matches began the main event in the upper bracket, and the losing sides started in the lower bracket.

The main event runs through Sunday. All matches are best-of-three until the grand final, which is best-of-five.

The champions will earn 45 percent of the prize pool, which began with a base of $1.6 million and will increase based on sales within the game.

The International 2024 prize pool:
