DOTA: Team Falcons move on to grand final at Betboom Dacha Belgrade

Team Falcons recorded a 2-1 victory over Tundra Esports on Friday to advance to the grand final of the $1 million Betboom Dacha Belgrade event in Serbia.

Team Falcons sandwiched 51- and 40-minute wins on red around a 53-minute victory on red by Tundra Esports.

The 12-team Dota 2 tournament began on Oct. 19. Playoff matches will be best-of-three until the best-of-five grand final on Saturday. The champion will pocket $400,000, and the runner-up will get $200,000.

BetBoom Team collected a pair of sweeps to advance to the lower-bracket final on Saturday to face Tundra Esports.

BetBoom posted a 44-minute win on red and 54-minute victory on green to dispatch Yakult’s Brothers in the lower-bracket quarterfinals before notching a 61-minute triumph on red and 38-minute win on green versus Team Spirit in the semis.

Team Spirit had advanced to the semifinals following a 2-0 victory over Aurora Gaming. Spirit posted a 57-minute win on red and 29-minute victory on green.

Two matches are scheduled for Saturday:
–Lower-bracket final: Tundra Esports vs. BetBoom Team
–Grand final: Team Falcons vs. TBD
