Talon Esports, BOOM Esports, Entity and OG rose to 2-0 in the Elite League Swiss Stage in the second day of action Monday.

Talon rallied for a 2-1 win over Nigma Galaxy, while BOOM, Entity and OG all won their series via 2-0 sweeps.

Sixteen teams are taking part in the Elite League Swiss Stage (Group Stage 1) using a modified Swiss system, which runs through Thursday. Nine came from closed qualifier seeds, and seven others were invited. All matches are best-of-three.

The top eight teams will move on to the round-robin stage (Group Stage 2), joining eight other teams that were seeded by invitation. That stage begins Friday, with two single round-robin groups of eight teams apiece. Those matches are also best-of-three.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the third- and fourth-place teams will go the lower bracket. The playoffs begin April 12, and matches stay best-of-three until a best-of-five grand final.

The winner takes home $300,000 from the $960,000 prize pool.

On Monday, Nigma Galaxy opened their match with a 32-minute win on green, but Talon responded with a 48-minute win on green and a 40-minute triumph on red.

BOOM defeated Team Secret in 58 minutes and 31 minutes on red. Entity topped HEROIC in 39 minutes on green and 24 minutes on red, and OG beat nouns in 49 minutes on green and 44 minutes on red.

The four matches pitting 0-1 teams were all decided in 2-0 sweeps. Tundra Esports defeated 9Pandas, Aurora swept Virtus.pro, PSG Quest topped KEV and Blacklist International beat Rest Farmers.
