DOTA: PSG.LGD reach Grand Final at International 10

PSG.LGD swept Team Secret 2-0 on Saturday to advance to the Grand Final at The International 10 in Bucharest, Romania.

They will meet the winner of the lower bracket final between Team Spirit and Team Secret in Sunday’s Grand Final.

Saturday’s action opened with Invictus Gaming eliminating Vici Gaming from the lower bracket in a sweep, winning the first match in 52 minutes and the second in 47.

In the next lower-bracket match, Team Spirit swept Invictus in 34 minutes and 50 minutes to eliminate Invictus in fourth place and move on to the lower-bracket final.

In the upper-bracket final, PSG.LGD held off Team Secret, winning the first match in 43 minutes and the second in 53.

The International 10 is the final event of the Dota Pro Circuit, returning to Europe (Arena Nationala in Bucharest, Romania) for the first time since 2011. Participation is by invite only, but teams qualified through the Pro Circuit.

Following group play (18 teams), 16 teams began in the double-elimination bracket at the Main Event, which started Tuesday. Eight teams began in both the upper and lower brackets for a total prize pool of $40 million (an initial prize pool of $1.6 million plus 25 percent of Battle Pass sales). All matches are best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final.
