Gaimin Gladiators won the upper-bracket final Saturday to advance to the grand final of the $1 million DreamLeague Season 23 event.

BetBoom Team and Team Falcons will meet in Sunday’s lower-bracket final with the winner taking on Gaimin later Sunday.

Gaimin took out Team Falcons 2-0 to secure the position in the grand final, while BetBoom turned back Xtreme Gaming 2-0.

Earlier Saturday, Xtreme Gaming eliminated Azure Ray 2-1.

Twelve teams are competing in the online Dota 2 tournament, with eight advancing from the group stage to the playoffs. The double-elimination playoff bracket began Thursday, with all matches best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final.

Gaimin opened its upper-bracket final with 20-minute win playing on green and followed with a 32-minute victory while on red to sweep Team Falcons.

Xtreme Gaming dropped its first matchup against Azure Ray in 62 minutes while playing on red before rallying for a pair of wins in 35 minutes (on red) and 34 minutes (on green), respectively, to move into the lower-bracket semifinal against BetBoom.

Playing on red, BetBoom completed a sweep of Xtreme Gaming with a 30-minute win. That came on the heels of a 54-minute win in the opener when they were playing on green.

The playoffs conclude Sunday with two matches:
–BetBoom Team vs. Team Falcons (lower-bracket final)
–Gaimin Gladiators vs. BetBoom-Team Falcons winner (grand final)
