Five teams are still in the running for the last three DreamLeague Season 25 playoff spots as Group Stage 2 concludes on Thursday.

The Wednesday results — all 2-0 sweeps — extended the drama until the final day.

PARIVISION (6-0), who have clinched first place, got past Team Spirit (3-3). Tundra Esports (4-2) topped Chimera Esports (4-2). BetBoom Team (2-4) stayed alive by defeating Team Falcons (3-3), and HEROIC (1-5) downed Team Liquid (1-5) in a battle for last place.

Group Stage 2 of the $1 million Dota 2 event is a single round-robin group with eight teams facing off in best-of-three matches. Each team will play every other team once.

The top two teams from Group Stage 2 will head to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the third- and fourth-place teams will land in the lower bracket, and the remaining teams will be eliminated.

The playoffs begin Saturday and feature a double-elimination bracket. All matches are best-of-three aside from the grand final on Sunday, which is best-of-five. The winning team gets $250,000 and a club reward of $40,000. There will also be 20,440 ESL Pro Tour points distributed to the participants.

On Wednesday, PARIVISION handled Team Spirit in 39 minutes on red and 43 minutes on green. Russia’s Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov led PARIVISION with an average 9.5/2.0/9.5 kill-death-assist ratio. Russia’s Denis “Larl” Sigitov finished at 4.5/4.5/4.0 for Team Spirit.

Tundra Esports beat Chimera Esports twice on red, in 29 minutes and 36 minutes. Russia’s Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov paced Tundra at 9.5/2.5/12.0. Ukraine’s Artem “lorenof” Melnick wound up at 6.5/4.0/6.5 for Chimera.

BetBoom Team defeated Team Falcons twice on green, in 48 minutes and 33 minutes. Russia’s Danil “gpk” Skutin registered a 13.5/2.0/13.0 K-D-A ratio for BetBoom Team. Jordan’s Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf logged a 6.5/5.0/6.0 K-D-A ratio.

HEROIC edged Liquid in 40 minutes and 39 minutes both on green. Nicaragua’s Yuma “Yuma” Langlet guided HEROIC at 9.5/2.0/12.0. Poland’s Michal “Nisha” Jankowski couldn’t rescue Liquid despite an 8.0/4.5/8.0 K-D-A ratio.
