CSGO: Team Falcons, HEROIC head to playoffs at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade

Team Falcons and HEROIC earned the final playoff spots on Friday in Serbia in the $500,000 BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 event.

Both teams advanced after 2-1 wins.

Team Falcons topped Virtus.pro in the Group A decider match, sandwiching a 13-10 win on Vertigo and a 13-8 triumph on Ancient around their opponent’s 13-5 win on Mirage.

Pavle “Maden” Boskovic of Montenegro had 48 kills and a plus-9 differential to lead Team Falcons.

In Group B, MIBR easily won the opener, 13-2 on Vertigo, but HEROIC countered with a pair of victories — 13-6 on Ancient and 13-7 on Dust II — to win the decider.

Denmark’s Rasmus “sjuush” Beck had 45 kills and a plus-17 differential to pace HEROIC.

Eight teams started in the Counter-Strike 2 tournament, with two groups of four teams battling in a double-elimination format. The top two teams in each group advanced to the single-elimination playoffs.

All matches are best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final.

The tournament continues Saturday with two playoff semifinal matches:

–Team Falcons vs. Team Spirit
