CSGO: Spirit, G2 move to grand final at BLAST Premier: World Final

Team Spirit and G2 Esports each recorded a 2-1 victory on Saturday to advance to the grand final of the $1 million BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 in Sentosa, Singapore.

Spirit dispatched Astralis after sandwiching 13-5 wins on Dust II and Ancient around a 13-3 setback on Vertigo.

Danil “donk” Kryshkovets recorded 47 kills and fellow Russian Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov had a plus-13 kills-to-death differential for Spirit, who advanced to Sunday’s best-of-five showdown versus G2 Esports.

G2 Esports upended Team Vitality after sandwiching a 13-10 win on Dust II and 13-8 victory on Mirage around a 13-7 setback on Inferno.

Russian Ilya “m0NESY’ Osipov had 63 kills and a plus-27 kills-to-death differential to pace G2.

The Counter-Strike 2 event began Wednesday with eight teams battling for a top prize of $500,000. The top three teams from each group made the playoffs. All matches are best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final.
