PGL announced Thursday how it plans to fit the 24-team Stockholm Major into a tight 13-day window starting later this month.
The three stages of the $2 million tournament each will take place over four days, and the first two — the Challengers and Legends stages, with 16 teams apiece — will feature two rounds of competition on Day 1.
That means 16 total matches on Oct. 26, when the major kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden, in an arena without fans, and 16 matches again on Oct. 30, the first day of the Legends stage.
After a lone day off, the eight-team Champions stage will be contested Nov. 4-7 at Avicii Arena.
The following teams have qualified for the major, with their opening stage yet to be determined unless otherwise noted:
Natus Vincere (Legends)
Team Liquid (Legends)

Team Heroic
Team Spirit
