CSGO: MOUZ, The MongolZ keep rolling at PGL Cluj-Napoca

MOUZ and The MongolZ completed 2-0 sweeps in Round 2 high matches on Saturday at the $1.25 million PGL Cluj-Napoca event in Romania.

After prevailing 13-9 on Inferno, MOUZ took Nuke 13-8 to down 3DMAX, while The MongolZ defeated Wildcard with wins on Inferno (19-16) and Ancient (13-10). In other Round 2 high matches, FaZe Clan beat Eternal Fire 2-1 and paiN Gaming edged Team Falcons 2-1.

Adam “torzsi” Torzsas of Hungary headlined MOUZ’s sweep with 40 kills and a plus-22 kill-death differential. Mongolia’s Munkhbold “Senzu” Azbayar finished with 48 kills and 37 deaths for The MongolZ.

Rounds 2-5 of the event will be seeded using the Buchholz system and the teams’ initial seeds. All matches in the group stage are best-of-three, with the top eight teams advancing to the single-elimination playoffs. The grand final will be best-of-five.

Four Round 2 low matches were held on Saturday, with BIG, Virtus.pro, MIBR and Astralis coming away with victories.
