Eternal Fire posted a pair of victories on Thursday to win Group A at the Champion of Champions Tour Season 1 Global Finals.

Eternal Fire defeated PARIVISION 2-0 in the opening match and took down SAW 2-0 in the winners match.

SAW had defeated Aurora 2-1 in their opening match, and they will have a rematch in the Group A decider match on Friday after Aurora eliminated PARIVISION 2-0.

The CCT Season 1 Global Finals split 16 teams into four double-elimination groups of four. The top two teams out of each group will advance to the single-elimination playoff bracket. All matches are best-of-three until the grand final May 23, which is best-of-five.

The first map of the winners match required overtime, and Eternal Fire escaped with a 16-13 win over SAW on Anubis. Eternal Fire finished off a spotless day with a 13-7 victory on Nuke. Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalcin of Turkey led Eternal Fire in the winners match with 49 kills on a plus-17 kills-to-deaths differential.
