Eternal Fire prevailed in the decisive third map against G2 Esports on Saturday to advance to the grand final of the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Team Spirit swept Natus Vincere 2-0 in Saturday’s other semifinal match to secure its spot in Sunday’s final, which will use a best-of-five format.

The first S-tier Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event of the new year features eight teams in a single-elimination bracket. The quarterfinals and semifinals were best-of-three. Participating teams are competing for a $500,000 prize pool.

On Saturday, Eternal Fire began play with a 13-11 win on Anubis before G2 countered with a 13-9 victory on Dust II. Eternal Fire recovered on the third map, Nuke, winning 13-10.

Turkey’s Ali ‘Wicadia’ Haydar Yalcin fueled Eternal Fire with 54 kills and a plus-7 kill-death differential. Countryman Ozgur ‘woxic’ Eker added 49 kills and led Eternal Fire with a plus-9 K-D. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Nemanja ‘huNter-‘ Kovac notched 54 kills and a team-best plus-15 K-D for G2.

Team Spirit opened with a 13-9 win over Natus Vincere on Dust II before outlasting NaVi 22-20 in four overtimes on Ancient.

Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets powered Spirit with 62 kills and a plus-18 differential, while fellow Russian Dmitry ‘sh1ro’ Sokolov racked up 35 of his 46 kills for Spirit on Ancient.

Valeriy ‘b1t’ Vakhovskiy of Ukraine registered 48 kills and was the only player on NaVi with a positive K-D ratio, finishing plus-7.

The prize money for Sunday’s grand final has yet to be determined. The winner will receive three Frequent Flyer Tokens, while the loser will earn one.
