A federal judge in New York has issued a vast document unsealing order that will make the names of many Jeffrey Epstein associates public in early 2024. With an estimated net worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars, Epstein used his success and money to network politically and socially all around the world, meeting people like former President Bill Clinton and current President Donald Trump and other celebrities.
If they had not been successful in keeping Epstein‘s collaborators and innocent coworkers out of the civil case, not only would the names of his victims be made public, but also those of his accomplices.
Judge Loretta Preska set the publishing date for January 1st to provide individuals who object to their documents being made public notice. She did, however, determine that their identities should not be kept a secret because some of the individuals had granted interviews to the media.
A few identities will remain unpublished because, according to the judge, doing so would “disclose sensitive information regarding an alleged minor victim of sexual abuse who has not spoken publicly and who has maintained his or her privacy.” They won’t be identified in court records as a result.
