The Los Angeles Thieves stayed unbeaten with a sweep of the Toronto Ultra in the Call of Duty League Stage 2 Major qualifier on Sunday.
The day’s other winners, also in sweeps, were the Minnesota Rokkr and Cloud9 New York, as Week 2 concluded.
The Stage 2 Major qualifying round consists of 12 teams, with each playing seven qualifying matches through March 16 to determine seeding for the Stage 2 Major playoffs, slated for March 20-23 in Dallas.
The Thieves, who are one of two teams to sport 3-0 records, had a close call on their first map, Hardpoint Redcard, winning 250-242. They then posted victories on Redcard Search & Destroy (6-2) and Protocol Control (3-2).
The Rokkr had an easier time of it in beating the Vegas Falcons, winning 250-150 on Skyline Hardpoint, 6-2 on Vault Search & Destroy and 3-0 on Hacienda Control.
Cloud9 also cruised past the Boston Breach: 250-148 on Hacienda Hardpoint, 6-1 on Vault Search & Destroy and 3-0 on Hacienda Control.
Week 3 begins March 7 with three matches scheduled:

–Toronto Ultra vs. Vegas Falcons
–Cloud9 New York vs. Los Angeles Guerrillas M8
