Travis “Neptune” McCloud has a new Call of Duty League team, as the former Florida Mutineers player joined the New York Subliners on Thursday.

The Subliners tweeted, “By land or sea, victory will be ours. Please welcome @NNeptuunE, our newest addition for the 2022 season.”

Neptune added, “Excited to announce I will be competing with the @Subliners for the 2022 Season!!”

Neptune initially arrived with the Mutineers as a substitute in January, but in less than a month he had earned a starting spot. The 19-year-old formerly competed in Halo.

Florida tied for seventh in the Call of Duty League playoffs in August, and earlier this month, the Mutineers revealed their 2022 roster, which didn’t include Neptune.

The Subliners tied for sixth in the CDL playoffs.

With New York, Neptune will fill one of the two roster vacancies created when the club parted ways with Obaid “Asim” Asim and Makenzie “Mack” Kelley in September.
