Siblings Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, who have won both Academy and Grammy Awards, will be honored with the Chairman’s Award at the Finneas O’Connell for their highly regarded song “What Was I Made For?” from “Barbie”.
The Palm Springs Convention Center will host the Film Awards on January 4, 2024. The festival will run through January 15.
Along with nominations for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, the song is up for five Grammy Awards.
At the 62nd Grammy Awards, Eilish made history by being the youngest artist to be nominated and to win in every major category (Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album). In addition, she is the youngest musician to have written and recorded “No Time To Die,” the official James Bond theme song. For best original song, Eilish and O’Connell took home a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.
