No. 4-ranked Taylor Fritz recorded a 6-4, 6-4 win over China’s Zhizhen Zhang and Coco Gauff scored a 7-6 (4), 6-2 victory over Shuai Zhang in singles. The Americans completed the sweep after Desirae Krawczyk and Robert Galloway posted a 6-3, 6-7 (1), 10-3 win in mixed doubles over Zhang and Fajing Sun.
The United States joined Kazakhstan in the semis where it will face either Italy or Czechnia.
Elena Rybakina breezed to victory and Alexander Shevchenko logged a three-set win to highlight Kazakhstan’s 2-1 victory over Germany. Also, Katie Boulter secured a 6-2, 6-1 win over Australia’s Olivia Gadecki to propel Great Britain into the quarterfinals

Japan’s Kei Nishikori rallied to reach the quarterfinals with a 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 win over third-seeded Karen Khachanov of Russia.
Nishikori overcame seven aces by Khachanov and benefited from five double faults from his foe to win the match in 2 hours, 9 minutes.
Fourth-seeded Arthur Fils of France fired six aces in his 7-6 (7), 6-4 win over Zizou Bergs of Belgium.
