Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is moving towards the sun. The billionaire founder of Amazon, Blue Origin and more posted on social media that he was relocating from Seattle, the headquarters of Amazon, to Miami, the city where he was brought up and schooled. He also posted a nostalgic video of Amazon’s origins in a garage in Seattle. Many web fans welcomed him to Miami. Many web fans also commented on the video and called him an inspiration as they consider his success story.
The 59-year-old billionaire shared a video of Amazon’s humble beginnings in a garage at his residence in Bellevue, Washington where it started as an online seller of books. It also became a pioneer in releasing an e-reader which is popularly called a Kindle.
Billionaire Bezos added a text that said Seattle had been his home since 1994 when he started Amazon. He also said that his father was the person behind the camera as Bezos gave a tour of Amazon’s first office in the garage of their home. The young entrepreneur stood among paper, books, a whiteboard, fax machines, desks and old computers in his first office.

Amazon founder Bezos said that his parents had been his biggest supporters and that they had moved back to Miami and he was also relocating as he wanted to be close to his “parents and Lauren.” He also said that he loves Miami and his company Blue Origin’s operations were shifting to Cape Canaveral, Florida.
He mentioned that he had lived in Miami, when he was younger and belonged to the Class of ‘82 at Miami Palmetto High and added “GO Panthers.”
In his lengthy post Amazon founder Bezos also spoke of his long stay in Seattle and of amazing memories and more. He ended the post saying “Seattle, you will always have a piece of my heart.”
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos got engaged to Lauren Sanchez in May 2023. They made their relationship public after he divorced MacKenzie Scott, to whom he was married for 25 years and they share four children together— three sons and a daughter.
Billionaire Jeff Bezos bought a seven-bedroom mansion in Biscayne Bay for $79 million, in September according to Bloomberg. Earlier in June, he had bought a neighboring estate for $68 million and the outlet reports that both the property spans 1.8 acres on the private island.
