The Minnesota Twins put right-handed pitcher Chris Archer on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with left hip tightness.

The Twins recalled RHP Josh Winder from Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move. Winder gets the start Tuesday night against the Chicago White Sox.

Archer, 33, is 2-3 with a 3.08 ERA in 15 starts for the Twins this season, his first with the club. The IL move is retroactive to Saturday.

He last pitched Thursday against Cleveland, lasting just four innings. He gave up a run, one hit and six walks in a no-decision.

Winder, who will be making his third stint with the Twins this season, has appeared in eight games (four starts), going 3-2 with a 3.06 ERA. In the minors this season, Winder has a 4.50 ERA across eight innings of work.
