The Cincinnati Reds’ home game against the Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed due to inclement weather, the sixth rainout on the Major League Baseball schedule Friday.
The game will be made up as a split doubleheader on July 7. Game 1 will be scheduled for 2:10 p.m. ET and Game 2 will be played at 7:10 p.m.
The teams attempted to get the game in, with a previously scheduled doubleheader looming Saturday. The 6:40 p.m. first pitch was delayed before the game was called off at roughly 7 p.m.

Games in Chicago (Dodgers-Cubs), Cleveland (Blue Jays-Guardians), Baltimore (Royals-Orioles), Philadelphia (Mets-Phillies) and New York (Rangers-Yankees) were also postponed earlier Friday due to inclement weather.
In Saturday’s split doubleheader, the Pirates’ Mitch Keller (0-4, 5.32 ERA) will face the Reds’ Nick Lodolo (1-2, 5.52) in the first game at 12:35 p.m. Game 2 is planned for 6:40 p.m., with Pittsburgh’s JT Brubaker (0-2, 6.20) opposing Cincinnati’s Connor Overton (0-0, 1.69).
