Veteran guard Tomas Satoransky will rejoin the Washington Wizards after agreeing to a contract buyout with the San Antonio Spurs, ESPN reported Saturday.

Satoransky, 30, played his first three NBA seasons with the Wizards from 2016-19. He will sign a free agent contract with Washington, per the report.

He began the 2021-22 season with the New Orleans Pelicans before a couple of trade-deadline deals earlier this month sent him to the Portland Trail Blazers and then to the Spurs.

Satoransky made one appearance for San Antonio, scoring three points in nine minutes in Friday night’s 157-153 double-overtime win at Washington.

A second-round draft pick by the Wizards in 2012, the Czech Republic native has career averages of 7.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 366 games (172 starts) with the Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Pelicans and Spurs.
