Nebraska flipped a pair of four-star recruits on National Signing Day, bolstering coach Scott Frost’s Class of 2022.

Wide receiver Janiran Bonner, committed to Georgia Tech since mid-April, joined running back Ajay Allen in the shift to the Cornhuskers on Wednesday. Allen had been committed to TCU since August.

Bonner played at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Ga., and had 50 catches for 816 yards and nine touchdowns in his senior season.

Allen is from Neville High School in Monroe, La. In the fall, he ran for more than 2,200 yards and scored 11 touchdowns.

With their commitments, Nebraska’s recruiting class moved to 10th in the Big Ten and 41st in the nation, per 247Sports.

The Huskers finished the 2021 season with a 3-9 record (1-8 Big Ten).

In another significant flip on Wednesday, four-star running back Jordan James signed with Oregon after committing to Georgia last March.

James, from Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., is the 16th-ranked running back in the nation, per the 247Sports composite.

Oregon has a spot to fill at running back after Travis Dye transferred to Southern California last month.

For the Ducks this past season, Dye ran for 1,271 yards, scored 16 touchdowns, and led the team with 46 receptions.
