NOTES: The event returns to a three-course rotation after the pro-am portion was canceled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions. The final round will be played at Pebble Beach. … Will Zalatoris was forced to withdraw on Tuesday following a positive COVID-19 test. … Brandon Harkins is in the field after winning on the Korn Ferry Tour last week – his first victory in 179 career PGA Tour-sanctioned events. Other sponsors exemptions include Dean Burmester, Chan Kim, Alex Cejka, Mark Baldwin, Austin Eckroat, John Murphy and Min Woo Lee.
BEST BETS: Patrick Cantlay (+600 at BetMGM) is the only top-10 player in the field at No. 4. He finished T3 last year after tying the course record at Pebble Beach with an opening-round 62. … Berger (+1100) is trying to become the first player to successfully defend since Dustin Johnson. He also finished T5 in 2020. … Jason Day (+2000) hasn’t won since 2018 but played in the final group last week. He has 10 top 15s at Pebble Beach and six top-10s since 2014. … Jordan Spieth (+2000), who won the event in 2017, finished T3 last year. … Maverick McNealy (+2500), who was in contention last week, carded a final-round 66 last year while finishing runner-up for the first time on tour. He also finished T5 in 2020.

Nelly Korda is in the field before taking a scheduled six-week break while skipping events in Singapore and Thailand. … Andrea Lee and Frida Kinhult are in the field as Monday qualifiers. There are no sponsors exemptions this week.
