Results from an MRI showed that New England Patriots rookie defensive tackle Christian Barmore avoided a major knee injury, NFL Network reported Monday.

Barmore was carted off the field Sunday in the Pats’ loss to Miami.

Barmore, 22, has 46 tackles – including three for loss – to go with 1.5 sacks and nine quarterback hits in 17 games (two starts) this season.

The Pats selected Barmore in the second round of the 2021 draft.
