FunPlus Phoenix tabbed former Gen.G player Tae-min “Clid” Kim as their new starting jungler ahead of the 2022 League of Legends Pro League season.

Clid, 22, replaces Tian-Liang “Tian” Gao, who moved to Top Esports.

FPX made the announcement Wednesday.

Clid is coming off a top-four finish with Gen.G at the 2021 World Championship. Clid and Gen.G could not come to terms on a contract extension, however.

Clid joins a retooled FPX roster that features just one player from their Worlds 2021 team: bot laner Wei-Xiang “Lwx” Lin.

FPX begin their 2022 campaign Monday on the opening day of the LPL Spring Split.
