NFL: Steelers place CB Joe Haden on COVID-19 list, activate 6 from it

The Pittsburgh Steelers placed cornerback Joe Haden on the COVID-19 list on Wednesday.’

Pittsburgh activated six players from the list, including linebackers Joe Schobert and Devin Bush.

Pittsburgh (8-7-1) is still in playoff contention as it finishes the regular season Sunday against the AFC North-rival Baltimore Ravens (8-8).

Haden has 34 tackles in 11 games this season. The three-time Pro Bowl selection has 611 tackles and 29 interceptions in 157 games (148 starts) in 12 seasons with the Cleveland Browns (2010-16) and Steelers.

Schobert has 108 tackles and one interception in his first season with the Steelers. It marks the fifth straight season Schobert has reached 100 stops.

Schobert has 657 career tackles, 11 sacks, 10 forced fumbles and 10 interceptions in 92 games (80 starts) with the Browns (2016-19), Jacksonville Jaguars (2020) and Steelers. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 2017.

Bush has 66 tackles and two sacks in 13 games this season. He has 201 stops, five fumble recoveries and four sacks in 34 games (33 starts) in three seasons with Pittsburgh.

The Steelers also activated offensive tackle Zach Banner, defensive back Arthur Maulet, running back Anthony McFarland and defensive end Chris Wormley off the COVID-19 list.
