NBA: Report: Mavs G Tim Hardaway Jr. added to protocols

Dallas guard Tim Hardaway Jr. was added to health and safety protocols Tuesday, The Athletic reported, the Mavericks’ fourth player added in two days.

He becomes the seventh player unavailable for Tuesday night’s game against visiting Minnesota. Reggie Bullock, Josh Green and Maxi Kleber were added to the COVID-19 protocols Monday. Willie Cauley-Stein (personal), Luka Doncic (ankle) and Eugene Omoruyi (foot) will also miss the game.

Further, Kristaps Porzingis (toe) is questionable.

The Mavericks announced the signing Tuesday of forward Marquese Chriss to a 10-day contract under the COVID hardship allowance. The team signed forward Theo Pinson on Monday.

Hardaway is averaging 14.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in 29 contests (20 starts) this season.
