The Philadelphia Phillies signed right-handed relief pitcher Corey Knebel to a one-year contract Wednesday.

Terms were not released.

The 2017 All-Star went 4-0 with a 2.45 ERA in 27 games (four starts) last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The starts came as the opener in bullpen games.

Knebel, 30, is 10-11 with a 3.23 ERA and 60 saves in 266 appearances (four starts) for his career, primarily with the Milwaukee Brewers (2015-20). Knebel missed the 2019 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery and got his start with the Tigers in Detroit in 2014.

Knebel saved 39 games for the Brewers in 2017, his All-Star year.
