MAD Lions confirmed the departure of Matyas “Carzzy” Orsag from their League of Legends roster Monday.
The 19-year-old bot laner from the Czech Republic had been with the Madrid-based organization since November 2019. He has been a free agent since Nov. 15.
Carzzy has reached a verbal agreement on a three-year deal with Team Vitality, Dotesports.com reported earlier this month.
“Today we say goodbye to @Carzzylol. What a ride it has been!” the team posted on Twitter. “We wish you all the best and thank you for all these years. You’ll always be in our hearts.”

Carzzy helped MAD Lions win two League of Legends European Championship (LEC) titles in 2021 and made two appearances at the LoL World Championships.
The remaining MAD Lions roster includes top laner Irfan “Armut” Tukek of Turkey, jungler Javier “Elyoya” Prades of Spain, Czech mid laner Marek “Humanoid” Brazda and support Norman “Kaiser” Kaiser of Germany.
