Former NFL and Vanderbilt running back Zac Stacy is facing battery charges in Florida after allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend.

Stacy, 30, was arrested Thursday night by Orlando police in connection with a Nov. 13 incident at the woman’s home in Oakland, Fla.

He was being held in the Orange County Jail on charges of aggravated battery and criminal mischief. Bond was set at $10,000 for the battery charge and $150 for the other.

The violent encounter was captured on surveillance video and occurred in front of the couple’s 5-month-old son, according to authorities. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the New York Post, Stacy picked the woman up “like a ‘rag doll’ and threw her into a 65-inch television.”

Disturbing video footage also shows Stacy striking her in the head with an object, punching her repeatedly and dragging her across the room before “body-slamming” her, according to police.

Oakland police responded to a domestic disturbance complaint, but Stacy had left the scene before they arrived.

He reportedly fled to Nashville, Tenn. He returned to Florida and was arrested without incident at the Orlando airport on Thursday night after police urged him to turn himself in.

Stacy was a fifth-round draft pick in 2013 by the St. Louis Rams and played three seasons with the Rams (2013-14) and New York Jets (2015). He rushed for 1,355 yards and nine touchdowns and caught 53 passes for 358 yards and one score in 35 games.

He rushed for 3,143 yards and 30 touchdowns at Vanderbilt from 2011-12.
