Dignitas parted ways with Halvor “vENdetta” Gulestol as coach of their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team on Thursday.
The 32-year-old Norwegian joined the team in February 2020 as a broadcast analyst. He was elevated to the role of coach in September of that year after Dignitas promoted Robin “Fifflaren” Johansson to vice president of esports.
“Change is never easy, especially with a stand-up person like Halvor,” Dignitas wrote on Twitter. “As we head into 2022, (Dignitas are) exploring new Head Coach options. Thank you (vENdetta) for your hard work. We are confident you’ll continue to find success in your storied CS:GO career.”
